The Safety, Health and Environment Forum (SHEF)
The Forum exists to
- promote effective co-operation and dialogue across the University between all dedicated staff in the fields of safety, health, the environment and security.
- provide a professional forum in which consultation and discussion can take place on all matters relating to safety, health and the environment.
- provide a professional group to which draft versions of all publications which are intended for University-wide distribution can be circulated for comment.
- submit a regular summary report to the Consultative Committee for Safety.
The SHE Forum used to meet once per month,
but since 2008 has been much more irratic.

It is intended that the Forum will be an inclusive group into which all those with appropriate interest will readily be accepted.
